As a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants in the State of New York, the oldest of the state societies, you will connect with fellow descendants through our annual events and social gatherings throughout the year. Beyond the social connection, you will help support our educational outreach programs that work with teachers and students to foster a deeper understanding of American history and the Pilgrims’ role in our nation’s founding. Whether you’re just beginning to explore your family history or have already researched your Mayflower lineage, we’re here to guide you through the membership application process.

Submit a Preliminary Application to become a member of the Mayflower Society
For potential members who have an immediate living family member with an active GSMD number, you may submit the Close Family Membership Application

If you are a current member of another Mayflower chapter, you are eligible to become a member of the Society of Mayflower Descendants in the State of New York. You may choose to become a dual member (and retain your membership in your current state society) or transfer your membership.
