Determining your
eligibility. If you have documentation that leads you to
believe you may be descended from a passenger on the Mayflower voyage of 1620 that
terminated on the shores of New England at Plymouth, you may be eligible to join the
Society. The following are the male
passengers known to have left descendants. Any
person able to document his/her lineal descent from one or more of the following
Mayflower passengers is eligible to apply for membership in the Society:
* Moses Fletcher died the first winter; his family never came to Plymouth. All known descendants reside in The Netherlands. Submitting a Synopsis. Fill-in the synopsis of your lineage from the
Mayflower passenger down to your generation (including full names of spouses). Email the synopsis to us. We will review your submission and
email our comments to you. Click
here for synopsis form. Preliminary Application. Print the form and submit it along with your filing
fee to the New York office. Click here for Preliminary Application. Worksheet. You will
be sent a worksheet by a New York Society Historian along with instructions on how to
fill-out the worksheet and what types of documentation must be submitted to prove a lineage. Submitting Final Documentation. Completed worksheets and documentation
should be
submitted
within one year to the New York Historian assigned to work
with you. The completed lineage will be submitted
to the General Historian in Plymouth for approval. Membership
will then be approved by New York Society. Approved Members pay Annual Dues.
